Yes or no. Purchased the Remington 1903A3 at a pawn show. Bolt has been jeweled. I look at the pics and in some case think yes and in some case think no.

leaving it up to the experts.

the rifle was D&T on the top and the side in one spot as you can see in the one pic at some point. Got it for under $200 as the rifle was mud covered. Think some kid inherited Grandpas truck deer rifle and decided he wanted the money instead.

Not a real A4 bolt but better than some of the $200 reproduction ones that I have seen on EBay, bead blasting and Parkerizing would help.

if that were my rifle, I would take it to a machine shop\gunsmith and have the plug those holes for the Lyman sight plugged, get a reproduction M82 scope from gunpartscorp, a real or reproduction mount and rings and make a A4 clone. Even if I had to plug and retap holes for the right mount, off comes the front sight and you got a sniper.

The A4 was issued with the Redfield Jr. one piece scope base mount. The rifle's serial numeral number can be read just below the mount on front right part of the receiver bridge. Front sight assembly is not on the barrel, and the Stock is a C type pistol grip. It also has the the special bolt that clears a scope body.
