Haha, this is how I see it. If I get the call of course I will say yes. If I don't get the call, my life continues. So either we get the call or we don't but don't chew your fingernails while waiting. lol

Actually, now that I look at things again, it seems that the Secretary of the Army 'may" transfer in 2019 up to 10,000 pistols. The reason The CMP ended up getting those they received this year was because there was another detail that said "shall" transfer no fewer than 8,000 in 2018. So, yeah, we will wait and see.

The reading of it by those in charge is the same as what I read it as. Two pistols up to a total of 10,000 for 2019 fiscal year. There is a time constraint as to when they have to be transferred by before it no longer is a shall transfer and becomes whatever Congress decides. That is June of 2019. 2018 was indeed a must transfer no less than 8000 year but could have gone as high as 10,000.

I wonder what the future will bring after the 1911s are sold off. There might be 38 and 45 caliber revolvers that could be transferred out of Anniston.

I doubt it, if this is any indication, I think most of the Model 15s were fed to Capt Crunch long ago. Danged shame. (I know this article specifically mentions the Model 13s). https://www.nrablog.com/articles/201...inum-revolver/
