Default Hello from NY

Hello everyone. I am on the cusp of purchasing my first M1 Garand, but I have encountered alot of uncertainty when it comes to the values to pull the trigger. I am looking for a correct grade and have a line on one locally, but I need help justifying the $1185 price. I will post in a different section on my concerns. Thanks.

Depending on where in NY (huge state), send me a PM, perhaps having someone look at it for you (or with you) might not be a bad idea, and many of us would be willing to help.
Mike
PS: like Dep says, the price is not out of line, if it is as it should be.
