Default Old ammunition

Sorting through some old ammo and would like to know if these (and more to come!) have any value. These are the .22 rf portion of the assortment.

Thank you,

Pat

They certainly look old enough to be valuable but you need to check eBay for the empty boxes and Google old ammo or old .22 ammo as there are a bunch of sites that sell/buy old ammunition. Problem is IMHO these sites have inflated prices so all they really tell you is the rarity of the items and an idea of what someone thinks they are worth.

First problem I see with your boxes and shells is condition because collectors are always looking for great condition.

More! Rim fires and a couple of pin fires on top. Brass shells are 10 ga. .45 shotshells, UMC .44 xl shotshell, probably some nambu rounds, top right - .45-70, .577 nitro, .577 - 450., couple of bb containers, not sure about the clipped rounds.

Wrong style clip. Carcano uses an enbloc, not a stripper:

clipped is 30-40 Krag I believe. Marked 30 US on the headstamp probably. Not sure why it would be clipped though. Could be one of the older 8mm rounds too.
