Same thing with handing out your FFL, if procedures are followed theres no chance for fraud

I feel like its easier to fake a paper document than a firearm. Plan for the worst, hope for the best cowboy.

Well, the packet has been mailed and was delivered the the CMP1911 over a week ago, so whatever happens happens. Nothing I can do about it now.

The name and address of the FFL was on my application in addition to the partial number, so I would hope that in processing my packet, they will be able to mate the faxed license with my application. If not, c'est la vie.

Nothing I can do about my packet now either. Had to write in the name of my FFL since they emailed theirs with hopefully my name attached like I requested.
Kinda worries me considering how much is out of my hands. And then having to hope I get lucky in the lottery.

Eh... if I lose, I guess I'll order my second Garand rifle. Been thinking I should since my first and only Garand rifle may be a lemon with its jams. Will all the stuff I submitted get saved in the database to order rifles too?

Johnson184,

I think you last question has been discussed here. From what I understand CMP1911 is completely separate/different company than the CMP rifle sale company. The paper work required for the rifle is a little different (Less the FFL which is required for the pistol/handgun). If you bought a rifle in the past, some of your information my still be valid and on file at the M1 Rifle complex. You would just need to go to the rifle sale webpage and read the requirements or better yet "Road Trip"! Good Luck!!

CMP 1911 and the CMP are two different entities. You'll have to resubmit your paperwork to the CMP rifle sales.

Is there an item number for these 1911s or do we just write in "1911 service grade".

CMP1911Admin stated that the field can be left blank or put your wish item.
