Interesting. I thought you had to resize before shooting. Learn something new every day.

Brass, yes. Bullets, well, that's what the discussion is about.

It depends.

Jacket and core material, how much larger they are.

Not for the novice

I just seated a .311 pulled 762x54R bullet into a properly sized HXP 3006 case. Neck bulging and I won't fire that in any rifle I own.

Sell the bullets, buy the right 30 cal bullets and enjoy best accuracy and safety.

Yeah...you can do it but why !! You can wear your socks all year long with out changing them...but why?

There are at least four different 7.62/7.65 Russian calibers. Which one?

Copy. Makes sense. I always see the larger russian bullets available for cheap but thought they had to be ran through a resizer die.

I have bolt guns in 7.62x39 (Ruger M77 Mark II for Davidson) and a M39 Finnish Mosin-Nagant in 7.62x54R. I also have a Yugo M57 in 7.62x25. I have somehow missed a Nagant revolver in 7.62x38R, but the day is young. Wouldn't surprise me if there were a few other Russian .30s out there.
