Sweeeet! My M1D S#173929 arrived this morning (played "hookey" from work). Will post up pics tomorrow or so (after I get a few coats of BLO on this dry stock and see how she looks). Metal wise - beautiful original finish (not a Greek repark). Bore is excellent.

Bolt:12SA
Oprod: IHC
Trigger Housing:-WRA
Hammer:2 SA
Safety: SA
Barrel: SA 9 52
Stock and Handguards - Sound but dry as hell. Greek "X"3 on pistol grip. No visible DAS or P Proof (will probably replace with SA Open Box down the road).

I may wait a bit more for pics as have an M84, pad and mount coming from Ranger1Bob to complete it.

Oh, and the cert definitely says M1D

Very happy!

Thanks Chris!

Earl

Sounds awesome. I am guessing you forgot a number in the serial?

The BWT delivered my WRA with decent WRA barrel and PAL just a few minutes ago.
I'll get piks up in a day or two.
New paperwork on it's way to Magna for another go at the SA SGs, or another WRA.

Lets get some pics, Earl!!. BTW, my Magna acquired M1D also came with an "oar" for a stock, but I stripped it, cleaned it up, fixed some gouges, Feibing's Dye 3 coats of BLO and then finished up with Tom's 1/3 mix, and it a beauty. Also, stampings under the buttplate confirm it was a GAW, which coincides with it's serial number.

How I got her:

How she ended up:

Looks very nice Toki. I'll get some pics when I have enough daylight to take them after work. Mine won't look quite as nice as I don't have the wood expertise - basically just put on the coats of BLO which at least makes her presentable.

Magna picked me a good WRAFG 1.2mil . Good metal, barrel with good muzzle and throat. Lot's of SA parts. USGI Walnut, sound but lot's of character as per F.G. Very happy. Will be disassembling and cleaning tonight. Should be a great shooter. SA barrel.
