Default Mossberg M44 Exractors?

I have an issue with a couple of my older CMP M44 purchases. I have posted the saga on the rimfirecentral forum.

Basically I believe I have extremely worn extractors. Thus when I close the bolt on a few of my rifles the bolt "snaps" into place when rotating. On the rifles that do not snap at all or very little the thickness of at least the rounded left extractor is larger. I am pretty confident at this point the barrels are indexed correctly.

.105 (Bad)
.119 (Good)

Is there a source for new extractors (left)? Or for that matter the right side ones?

In the end I won't know if the extractor wear is a function of the symptom or cause until I pull the barrel on the troublesome rifle and definitively see if it just is slightly out of index.

Vic Havlin (Havlin sales I believe) specializes in Mossberg parts. I would bet he would have them or check Gun Parts Corp website.

I will ping them and see if any are still available. They are not listed on their website.

As always, check the web site, like here. The price on eBay will always be higher than on the web site. Not everything on eBay is on the web site, however.

The extractors for the CMP 44's are different than the commercial models. Only place I have seen the correct ones is on Ebay!
