Hi guys, I just picked up a Sig 229 in 357 Sig (police trade in )

I reload for 45, 38/357,and 40, also several rifle rounds.

looking for any tips on the 357 Sig.

do you have to trim them ? any pet loads, favorite powder or bullet.

Thanks, 78jeep

I load for the 357 sig. Use the dillon carbide dies, they have the proper dimensions. I like to use hodgon Longshot and Accurate #9. As for favorite bullets, I like Montana golds 357 sig bullet and RMR 124 grain multi purpose HP.

I do. Love the round. When I started loading for the round I kept crushing the shoulders. Learned to take it a little easy and all is good. I use 125 grain plated flat points. I also use Accurate #9. I found it to a very accurate powder and easy to load in the 357 Sig. I donít push them too hard so played is fine. Also, a thing to remember is donít use round base 9mm bullets. They just donít work and wonít chamber worth a crap.

Enjoy. It is a fun round.
