I don't think there are records for dates for when serial numbers were applied to S'G' receivers in the same way records exist for WRA carbine receivers. S'G' production was a little chaotic. Best evidence on assembly dates come from barrel dates. Do you have a dated barrel and if so what is the date? I have a 3.63 million S'G' with original 11-43 Inland barrel. Your 3.62 million S'G' is a very late S'G'. I think the last S'G' carbines where shipped out of that plant January,11 of 1944(Ruth's War Baby). I would guess that your 3.62 million S'G' was produced in November or December of 1943.

Mike it has a Inland 10-43 barrel that I believe is original.

Assuming the barrel is original, and that date makes sense, it could have been "made" as early as October or perhaps November. That is my best guess.
