Default Mint cut OL

I got around to cleaning my OLs and found this gem. Didn't really notice it when they came. I usually just pull the blade check the date/scabbard then back in the box until I get time to clean them. Anyway this OL really looks unused. I don't want to say unissued because I don't know that for sure. It was modified by AFH and is bowie cut and ALL CORRECT with no numbers on the hilt ect. Faint cross cannons and is unsharpened too. Even the spring, screw and release look NOS.

Any bayo experts out here to give their professional opinion would be nice.

Looks like you have a real gem! That is real nice work on the cut down tip also.

Yowza that is one nice bayo. That's the one I was hoping to get. They sent me a spear point cut OL in black park. Can't complain though.

I received a very nice modified OL as well, but yours is better still. Just curious, per the attached thread from the USMF, does yours have an ordnance bomb on the underside (or topside) of the blade?

Ive always liked the M1E's cut down to a sword point.
I had one, but in my collection now, I only have full 16" M1905's and a 10" M1

Based on the clip, I'd say that's as close to a mint edge as you'll see.
