Personally, I wouldn't buy anything made in Iran no matter how good the price!!

Well it looks like someone found the place that is selling it. I just talked to my 01 dealer and he confirmed it was samco that is selling it.

Here's the link. Almost 60 cents per round, I'm not interested!

I either read about it, or saw it on the History Channel, that some special forces intentionally placed an explosive shell in 7.62x39 crates. They would then reseal the crates and leave them where the VC would find them. They were careful not to place two explosive shells in the same case, so if the ammo was torn down, nobody would find anything wrong, after a rifle blew up. Does anyone remember hearing about this?

Actually in the sixties, Iran was one of our staunchest allies in the middle east. Remember the Shah of Iran? Iran used to be part of NATO if I remember correctly, when the Shah was in power. Maybe Iran even had a bunch of M1 Garands loaned to them from the US Army back then?

Rumor has it that they received a lot of IHCs. Doubt if we'll ever see those again!!

Yeah Iran received about 165,490 m1s from the government. I think captain crunch blocked these from coming into the states in the 60's.
