Default WTS March 1945 SG SA M1

What everybody dreams about. I am the original owner of this Service Grade (what I believe to be) original rifle. It is exactly as I received it from the CMP; a Springfield Armory March 1945 with an ME of 0+ & TE of 1+. The Gas Cylinder flats have not been chromed. The crown is excellent & there is no pitting/corrosion anywhere that I can see. The transition period from the SA/GAW stock, the 9 SA Curve side op rod & the 14-SA trigger group to SA/NFR, 9 SA Flatside & 18-SA Trigger Group occurred between January-March of 1945 so they would be correct. The stock appears to be original w/ the usual shipping/handling dings while in the possession of the Army/CMP. Lock up is tight. I hate to sell it but I have others & Iím raising funds for a new project. I want $1875 shipped by FedEx in the CMP plastic case w/ CMP certificate, book, yellow safety flag, and enbloc clip. Must be shipped to an FFL/C&R. First (Iíll take it) followed w/ PM.

What is meant by the word original? Does that mean correct and not corrected? What year did you buy it? Thanks.

It was a recent acquisition that was ordered & shipped by the CMP. It arrived from the CMP as listed on the data sheet. Because it was received in correct condition, the rifle speaks for itself & the assumption may be made that it was received by the CMP in that condition, therefore original.
