Default Gotta Love Birch

Here's what I've been working on lately. I've had some barreled receivers projects for quite some time and finally got to start assembling. I love the look of the 60's birch. The top 3 are Navy 308 rifles and the bottom is a 30.06 build for my cousin wearing a cmp birch stocks set. Two of the Navy are Mod 0 including WRA with an original WRA barrel. The third is a Mod 1 with the 60s barrel. Enjoy just a few pics!!

I agree Chris, there's something about that 60's Birch. Both my Navy rifles sport it.

I’m a big birch fan too. When they are cleaned and oil the grain really pops

Mine is on a 2.4M WRA with a "A" suffix added to the serial number (and as noted on the US inventory tag), it is a nice added touch to an uncommon example.

Thumbs up

And I don't mind Beech either.

But, Birch is my favorite. This on my IHC, SA 60's rebuild:
