It's a gamble since it's non-returnable. I seriously doubt that they're showing the worst rounds. The pictured rounds don't look too bad but the "pitting" in the description causes concern. The brass cases may be compromised and weakened. Do you feel lucky? I have .30 M2 ammo coming out my ears so, not needing any, my opinion may be biased. You can reload .30/06 with a good match grade bullet for a little more.

It's M-2 ball from various countries/manufacturers. If you sort it based on headstamp, it would improve on target results. But, given the lack of consistency, it is unlikely to be much more than good for blasting. Given the $.35/rd. cost before shipping, one would be better served buying bullets/powder/primers and loading some basic functional range ammo. The cost would be comparable. On target results would most certainly be better. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

Remember guys, this ammo has all been sorted. The Grade "A" went into one pile, the grade "B" went to another pile. This means if you order 400 rounds of corroded ammo, you are going to get 400 corroded rounds. This isn't one of those deals where "10% of the ammo is corroded." No, ALL of it is corroded. Buy at your own risk.
As much as I love cheap '06, I'm passing on this stuff. My Garand deserves better.

There is a reason it is $.35/rd.

I bought a lot of the Grade A awhile back and was very happy with "most" of it.

I believe the three members above are spot on with their comments. At the end of the day you gotta ask yourself, "how lucky do I feel?"

Boy if this ammo is as bad as you guys think (I agree BTW) I can't believe any business would sell this stuff and take the chance of alienating more customers than they already have. Once in awhile you have to give your customers a real deal and this would have been a great way to do that by selling at .20 cents apiece or less.

Do your research it's coming from CTD and there reputation in the shooting world is not stellar. I personally would pass on it...

That's the thing, they've already screwed people over and have a bad rep, but people still come back to them. They know the few they may lose will be replaced probably twice over.
