At this time there is not a price advantage. Privi has just inspired me to believe that for those who don't want the hassle of reloading, a cheap 30-06 will be available for the M1 beyond CMP sales.

When the HXP runs out, perhaps the CMP will start selling this ammo to supplement the M1's it has left.

It's not a price advantage to the Greek HXP, but, this is brand new manufactured ammunition, and may be of arguably higher quality.

It is a price advantage to any other commercially loaded new manufacture ammo on the market today.

I seriously doubt many guys will want to buy HXP from non CMP sellers, after the CMP has sold out of HXP. If you can buy this stuff that is, brand new and it really works good as advertised. All the guys who are buying HXP thinking they can sell it at some big profit once CMP sells out are not using their noggin. There are major ammo makers out there willing to step in and take over once the HXP runs out.

Seriously, who would want to pay jacked up HXP prices for old surplus ammo, when you could buy new commercial M2 ball at a good price?

Eric

No greek either, been tempted. I really like the Hornady that the CMP sales, plus nowhere in my area to shoot ammo that attract a magnet. They say it is a fire hazard

I did not take that into consideration, I'm sure that may yet happen in Arizona too.

Looks like Aims has a waiting list or is this just a way to test demand?
