Gunfreak64 was removed after Colin's post.
And ghrkhri12, along with an associated alias username were removed this morning.

Well, this thread just saved me from some potential issue. JHALL had emailed me about my WTB add. His approach was very strange by not showing the pictures of the PB markings I was looking for. Then he was asking, "how much did you budget for these parts", which I found very odd. I went and looked up his user name lazguns101 and found he was a banned user. I then remembered this thread and suddenly all made sense. Thanks to those of you out there that can spot the fraudulent users.

These scammers also harvest email addreses. And sell them to other scammers.

Keep a sharp eye on your email.

Best to not click on any links in the emails. Or PMs.

Looks like you bit on the first scam.

You might want to edit your post and remove his email.

Not sure if you can report the email attempt, but look at the top right for the sign.

Actually I'm thinking it's a good TTP. Now the offender will get his email picked up by a spambot and pummeled with garbage.

Damn....

I received a PM from gunsgoner in response to my WTB post for a BS elevation pinion.
He requested a move to regular email, which I did and received a nice pic from him.
I happened to check his profile and noticed that he was banned here.
From that point forward, I stopped communication with gunsgonner

....harvested my email address?
Crap!

Default What's this?

Big Red,
I sent you a PM on this one last night.

Received it from "Maksim Klapan" last night. That user shows banned this morning. Maybe it says I've got $1,000,000 for you if you send me your bank details.

Reading that sounds like he is taunting you and possibly the forum, even says that he will still test, and will we what happens.

Good morning Emile. Yes sir...just replied to your PM.

He is lamenting the fact that he spent many rubles and got an otherwise original gas trap Garand, but...that it came in a CMP stock, and the CMP stamp is very deep!

Thanks to you, as well as the many others who reported his PMs...I removed him as soon as I saw those e-mails.

Thanks and best regards,
Rob
