5/29/08 Wanted a Rock-Ola but they sold out. Ordered a Saginaw S'G'. ($675.00) Thought they sent me the wrong gun, it said Underwood 5-44 on it. Since then I got the bug. Now I have all manufactures and some (no IP) Some No bolts and some B/Rs to play with. ($Thousands)

Inland SG from CMP since I only wanted one "pop" gun and went with the lowest price. Then "had to have" a few other makers, then got all manufacturers. Then since you have to have a back-up for everything, purchased a second round of makers. Then a bunch of Bavarians/Austrians since they have unique, verifiable history.

Inland 6 digit I bought in a shop for $99 in 1990. SG+, looked like an arsenal rebuild that was never fired afterwards. I wasn't shooting it and felt a firearm should not sit idle so I put it up for sale circa 1994. Sold it for $99, with 10 NIW USGI mags. Hindsight is 20-20 and it is probably the one gun sale I regret the most.

After almost 20 years with the DCM/CMP I had never even fired a carbine. After the election I bought a SG WRA. $675.00 It was about 75% correct.

A Rockola from my Dad for $100 when I was in my 20's. Still have it today and have added a couple of Winnys, NPM, and Quality Hardware to go along with it.
