Default Can you bid on Garand if yearly purchase limit has been met

Sorry guys if this one has been answered many times in the past.

Just curious since I have used my limit already.

Nope....You can bid, but can't win.
From the FAQ...
Quote:
Any purchases of M1 Garand functioning rifles, M1 Garand Drill Rifles, M1 Garand Ceremonial Rifles, M1 Garand receivers, from any CMP sales outlet (including the CMP Auction) will count against the 8 M1 Garand limit per calendar year.

In the past, the limit count has been determined by the date shipped. This being the middle of December, if you are a little slow in returning the paperwork and payment (I believe the auction gives you 30 days), you should be into 2020 before it is shipped.

You can, but you may need to wait for the next fiscal year for your new quota to kick in

As a side note, they also changed from 30 days to 14 to remit payment and paperwork.
