Default Bad experience from Bob Nesbet Possible scam

This ad was posted selling some M1 Garand enblock clips, stripper clips, etc.. on the 9th and I responded to it...I sent him a private message of "I'll take the stripper clips." He agreed, telling me that he would total it up over the weekend and let me know monday. Now he sold them to others. His name is spelled Nisbit, not Nesbet.

All my items are USGI from when I was shooting high power service rifle competition. (At Camp Perry and at State matches.)
Have 30-06 enblocs, 30-06 bandoleers most with cardboards, 7.62 stripper clips and 7.62 bandoleers plus 7.62 magazine loading guides, plus 30 carbine stripper clips and bandoleers and magazine loading guides.
enblocs: 75 to 85 cents depending on quantity;
bandoleers: 75 cents;
strippers: 20 cents;
Mag Loading guides: 1.50.
I am willing to trade. Need a VX-3 scope, some 375 Ruger brass, maybe something else you need to get out of your closet.

Hi there

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will take the 762 stripper clips, guides, and bandoleers if they are for the M1A/M14. Assuming of course that I don't have to buy a whole truck load of them. Jon

How many of these do you have and what rifle are they for? I'm looking
for about 10 bandoleers worth for the M14/ M1A. Thanks, Jon

They are for the USGI M14, but I used them for my M-1A.
All items are as new USGI.
I have quite a few more than 10. Will send you as many as you want to buy. Collected them for about 10 years and kept them in my closet. Now am out of the competition game and am selling my items.
Thanks,

Ok. I wasn't sure how many you had. I'd like 20 each of the 762
bandoleers and loading guides. $45. Plus 500 762 stripper clips $100.
Plus shipping. Can you ship these in a med flat rate box ? I think
that they are $10.95. Well anyway, please work up the final price for
me and I can mail you a postal money order if that's ok. I'll need
your address as well. Thanks, Jon

Jonathan,
I will put it all together over the week-end and let you know details on Monday.
I think it will fit into the medium box. I just want to be sure.
The total would appear to be $155.95

Thanks,

I am not sure I have 500 strippers. Have been looking and current count is just under 300.
Are you sure you want that many. 500 will acomadate 2,500 rounds of ammo.
Thanks,
Bob Nisbet

Hi there. I'll take whatever you can come up with. I'm storing some for the future. Whatever you have, just work a price and address up for me. Thanks, Jon
