Stock Cartouche I have never seen before,North Korean? Russian? Chinese?

I got this stock on a original I guess it was about 3/4 of a rifle. It was missing parts and looked like it had spent time in some very harsh conditions in the Pacfic.

Everything looked original to the rifle same corrosion, color ,wear and the barrel was shot out.A plus 10, most shot out barrel Ive ever seen. It was about a 13 or 14 if I could measure that high.

All parts were very early and heavily worn and corroded.What was left was a full rifle minus the bolt and some other minor parts, it was not import marked.

Possibly Taiwanese.

Not Korean for sure.

A few years ago some ex-Taiwanese Garands were imported. Might be from one of them
