Default South Store Report 05/16/2019

There were 12 customers at opening and the racks were full, with 66 rifles.

Armors today are a Bobby and Ellyn.

1911 Information: All 1911’s serviced by CMP armors are taken to Talladega Marksmanship Park to be tested fired before shipping to customers. Recently they have improved this process by adding a 1911 shooting facility to the program at the 1911 building. This will GREATLY improve and reduce the time for test firing these pistols so that the wait time, for people like me in line WAITING and others, should be reduced. My hats off to the CMP for making this improvement!!!

Personal note. Two very nice gentleman from Abilene, Raeford and Terry McCxxxxxk brought me a very nice BBQ beef brisket from Texas, with special BBQ sauce to boot, as an appreciation gift for my store posting, certainly not required but very nice of them. That was very kind of them both. THANKS!!!

CMP Specials.30.06/ WRA 1/ HRA 4/ SA 8

CMP Specials.308/ IHC 3.

CMP Field Specials, SA 18

WRA SG, 10, 50/50 CMP and USGI stocks, couple with DAS cartouches, no WRA barrels or WIN13.

IHC SG, 10, almost all with USGI stocks, couple with DAS cartouches, didn’t see any IHC stocks, most with LMR barrels.

M1C SA SG, 5

M1D WRA RG, 3

M1 Drill, 3

1903a3 Drill chrome, 1

Good luck on your searches.

Excellent!
And thank you for keeping it brief and concise.

Keep in mind that WRA started at 100001. I learned that after picking a WRA M1D, 113XXX at the North Store a couple of years ago and realized that I had one of the first 13000 receivers delivered by WRA in 1941.
