I thought you recently upgraded to the Vortex Razor? Not happy with the Vortex?

The advantage of an angled scope is that it relieves neck strain when shooting in most positions. It also allows the scope to be set up slightly lower which helps keep it out of the way and out of the wind. With the proper set up, you will only have to move your head a couple of inches to look through an angled scope when in the prone position.

It depends on use.

On a bench, either is fine.

If you are coaching/spotting, straight works well, without hunching over the scope (bad posture).

As stated, for position shooting, angled is better.

THIS^^^.

I bought a straight scope many years ago "because it was a good deal". After using it awhile I replaced it with an angled scope. Being I ended up replacing it because I hated breaking position and not being able to use it in position......It wasn't a good deal after-all.

I use a Vortex Razor HD angled scope with LER eyepiece (and also a 20-60x eyepiece) and a Kowa with LER now and love them both.

This guy is just copying and pasting questions from other Forums. Even when he responds it also is from the Forum thread.
