There may be some decent Mil-surp ammo for the 303 British (HXP): but most of it is so bad I won't use it. Even the British 56 RG is Cordite--one of the hottest and errosive propellents ever used. Reloading is a great option here. Like most of the ancient rimmed cases you should dedicate your cases to a specific rifle, neck size and keep your loads moderate. If and when you must FL size leave the shoulder as long as possible or you will experience case separations very early on. The 123gr .311 diam. (esp. the Win .311 PP) bullets made for the 7.62x39 are economical, low recoiling and as accurate as anything else out to 200yds. Good Shooting......

Would you mind sharing that source of pulled 7.62 bullets? When all's said and done that is a relative bargain

Sorry I am so late getting back. Try Pats Reloading. Patsreloading@AOL.com

Since my last post I have been shooting some of the reloads. I can easily hold a 2.5 to 3" group off of bags at 100 yards. That is not bad for military components and a surplus rifle. The bullets are doing their part.
