Default $2000 carbine.

I came across this on a carbine forum just now. The seller wants $2000 for a "collector" carbine. Now I might be missing something here. There is not much info on the little carbine. 6 digit serial #, flip sight, sling and oiler.
Check it out and tell us what you think.

Can't view the listing if not 'registered'.

Isn't EVERY .30 Carbine a 'collector'?

Read that site a few time. Don't think it is very active - have tried to raise an admin because of login problems both through email and posting an "please contact me thread"
As for the carbine in the top down view of the rear site I looks to me as a cast part in the side view I might be picking up some mill marks but can't be sure. On the stocks cc looks awful new but am not able to compare to known good one right now (do cannons look a little bottle shaped?). Also not a lot of pictures for 2k

It is a good site but it has slowed down. The carbine is nice but maybe I'm missing something - it doesn't seem like a nice Inland is worth $2000.

Don't want to register on another site, but is it this one?

If so, the seller is a bit optimistic IMO.

Looks good (personally, I've never seen an ugly one); maybe knock off $75 per cat hair? (x 3 = $225).

What's the bumpy gig sitting at the bottom of the ramp?

Something about the set doesn't warrant $2k... maybe close, and then again, maybe not close.

Based on the few photos it looks original to me. Not a $2000 Carbine IMHO. I would want to see more photos before making an offer on that one.......
