Default The bargains continue for Toki....

When to see my friend today, again...
I got:

Marlin model 1984 44 mag lever action
260 rounds Winnie 308.
Another 400 resized carbine brass
1000 308 projectiles (look like M2 pulls to me)
500 200 grn 45 auto projectiles

$400 total. Who's better than me?

My bro pocked up a Winnie lever action 45 colt for $400. He has a couple of nice ARs but wants too much since they are later purchases.

Nevertheless I will be going back to acquire more over the next few weeks.

I assume you mean model 1894? Looks great, and will pack a .44 mag-punch! I have a Marlin CB 1894 in .357, bought a few years back, when doing some SASS shooting. They're great guns and alot of fun. Some are predicting original Marlins to go up in value, since Remington's take-over of the company, and closure of the North Haven CT plant. I've heard the new "Rem-lin's" quality is disappointing.

Went from a 'friend of a friend', to 'a friend'. Hit the 'lottery' twice, and you're gonna' hit it again in the next week few weeks?

Why wait?

You guys are lucky. I always seem to find out about a bargain I could have had after the guy tells me he took it to a gun show or local shop and sold it off for bottom dollar.

Hmmm...

Judging from the 'deals', I'd guess that it's time for the guy to GIVE you all the hardware, and write you a check for gas after loading your belly with a plate of Filet Mignon grub.

That's just me tho'..........

Nothin' like finding a sweet deal. The thrill of the hunt can be almost as fun as the shootin.

Congrats!
