Match grade bullets for a M1?? If your matches are 1-200yd there is no reason to use expensive 150gr+ (real) match bullets. You will shoot better, pay less, enjoy it more and save points in rapids with a 110-125gr FB, spire or hollow pts. Check out the Speer 125gr TNT for 500 pricing. BTW--Golden West bullets, regardless of what they call them are not match grade and will not keep up with Nosler, Sierra, etc. Good Shooting....

PowderValley also is a good source for bullets, although Widenner's prices are often better.

MidwayUSA is a good source, especially when they are having sales.

Default Source of .308 30 cal (bulk)

Will research and check out all these sources. Guess "match" was not the word I needed, just source of good bullets compatable with Garand. Thanks J.K.

XXVI Corps is a great guy. Met him on the Firing Line forum. As I find and shoot older surplus, I send him the cases to add to his ammo information list. Great resource, really helpful.
I usually have a copy in my gun show bag - and glove box - as you never know when you're going to run into some milsurp at the local gun store
