Default Headstamp ID

I picked up a bag of loose 30/06 rounds the other day at a show for cheap... about a dozen black tip AP rounds marked "TW 43" and about 80 FMJ rounds.

These were stamped with a "II" on the left, " 'O'JP " on the top, and "60" on the bottom. Anyone know anything about these?

Thanks for any info.

I'll take that "corrosive" black tip and dispose of it for you, so you don't have to mess with it.

I'm sure I can find a proper way to dispose of it Edited: I found some spec sheets for the AP ammo.

Although... one more question. I took a magnet to the black tip AP ammo that I have, and also to the HXP that I have. The magnet is attracted probably 5x as much to the HXP than the black tip. Anyone ever do a cross section of the HXP? Why is this? The HXP will actually hang on the magnet (cow magnet) and the black tip will not.

Hunter... thanks for the info. I will bookmark that page.
