Based on my phone call with Magna Chris yesterday, I'd say it was pretty much the same as described here...

http://forums.thecmp.org/showthread.php?t=92660

...and as of today, minus half a dozen or so HRA FGs, an SA Special, and a few others.

Slimmest pickens I've seen this year! Did find one nice low serial number (46621XX) HRA FG (MW 1+!) and a HRA FG with NFR stock and early SA trigger group to take home, though. Two so-so GAW stocks left on the rack.

Magna is the man!!!
I never recieved a shipping notification from CMP yesturday. I started to wonder if I'd get the shipment before Christmas and about 10:00 am today my Christmas present(s) to myself arrived. Two great Kimber's and two Springfield , MK 2, Mod 1, Navy BR's. One of which is an H & R serial number 222--- or May of 1941! The other BR is a AMF serial 1,151,--- or Jan of 1943. I don't have any gages but bores look good with no knicks that I could see on the crown. My Grandpa was a WW II vet that was stationed on the isalnd of Palawan. I wonder who touched and shot these in thier service life???
I'll get some funds together to build the BR's later, and also when the picking is better at CMP. I'll post up some pics over the weekend when I have more time.
I'm very happy!!!
Thanks to the CMP to offer these and all they do for everyone.
Thanks Chris! Merry Christmas to you and Grandma.

Joe, I had both those MK2 Mod1's behind the counter Saturday. That H&R has a very nice original finish with little to no wear. Did you notice the original machine marks still in the op rod slot? The AMF was nice too. I took home a AMF, H&R, and a SA that I believe was a Match rifle. Going to have Addell verify it for me. Congradulations again on getting two very nice Navy B/R's.
