This is a tough one. By far, the most likely location (35,700 pistols) is the Reserve Army Depot in South Schenectady NY on 2/7/19; however, there were technically 13 other small shipments (around 4,000 pistols total) it could have gone in between 12/18/18 and that 2/7/19 one.

Happy to help: all we know is that one shipped from the factory in Syracuse in mid-September 1944.

Thanks Bearpack - I'll add to the record that it was refurbished at one time or another at Springfield (SA stamp) and then again in August of '76 at Anniston (ANAD 8 76). Pretty cool - thanks again!
