THat has less pitting than my IHC Special Grade.

With all due respect however how can you spend $650 when beautiful field grades are being sold at the same price and SG's are only $750. I got 2 SG's in May and August and both are tack drivers with ME/TE of 1/2 and 2/2 on SA barrels (6-55 and 7-43)

I think they are finally rolling out the refinished receivers from Philippine returns that were water and termite damaged.

What a great deal. Perfect as-issued JCG rifle for the Games. Barrel and stock alone are worth $350 on their own.

For all those getting overly excited of that premium example of a Rack grade that's been posted in this link, you need to remember they don't put the worst rifles in the store. They mail those out to those who can't make the drive to the store and there is a big difference in going in the store and hand picking a rifle as compared to getting the next one in the rack. I want to see a picture of what they are mailing out please.

Those were my thoughts too when I saw the pricing.

Default Just my two cents

Donít believe these are Philippine returns.

Rifles for the store or mail order come from the same box, good or bad and the store has its share of rough rifles.

I believe the RG receivers have been around CMP prior to the return of Philippine rifles

Sales started slow on the Special RGís, but picked up rapidly last week and I believe I purchased the first Special RG that I know of from the store, could be wrong but think Iím right. The other RGís condition that I saw was pretty nice to pretty rough...

Just my two cents.

Since the RG Specials were just listed to the web page(Rifle Sales) yesterday(or today) then I guess he would be talking about store sales, as I doubt anyone has received their mailorder RG Special yet....

I must have missed when the thread switched to store sales. FYI the rifle sales web page was updated yesterday (the beauty of using Wachete).
