Default New from NoDak

I'm just a young gun who caught an interest in good old american steel, just starting my collection but picked up a nice S.A. 5.355.xxx m1 garand and a late 43 to early 44 saginaw near matching m1 carbine along with a mosin and swiss k11 rechambered to .308. I've come to enjoy using these rifles much more than my Ar's and other modern rifles and look forward to expanding the collection

I'd guess that is a badge # for an LEO. I grew up north of Bismarck and, back in the day, I was #4431. Glad to see you are taking interest in the historical firearms. Only problem(?) I have is so many calibers to load for! (.223/5.56, .30-06, 7.5 Swiss, 8mm mauser, 45 ACP) plus others.

That's half the fun! I'm currently working on getting into casting bullets. Starting out with the .30 carb. Currently I mainly just reload .308 and 30-06 due to having a couple rifles in each caliber but also dabble in 10mm, .357, 7.62x54r, 22-250, and waiting on my .30 carb dies

And here's another +1 to the welcome from a fellow NoDak! Home of the Fighting Sioux, no matter what the stupid NCAA says. And I suppose those Bison people in Fargo are decent enough, too.
