I think you will be OK for awhile if you can make the trip to South Store for a SC 1903a3 during January. Good luck.

Default Friday opening report

There were four customers at opening and most were looking for the 1903a3’s. Racks were full.

SA 6 million, 8

WRA RG, 10, no WRA barrels

IHC FG, 16, most with LMR barrels, no IHC stocks

1903a3 Chrome 1 (shooter) and 1 Chrome Drill Rifle

1903 Drill, 4 SA, 1 RI, 1 Remington

SC 1903a3, 5, all with SC barrels, good condition

All other rifles remain about the same as yesterday’s opening report.

Good luck on your searches

PH68, THANKS for the reports that made me make the trip this morning and find a couple of nice rifles!

It was a great day (for me) at the South Store, as I was number 3 in line at 7:30 and I left with a nice S-C (mw=.5, throat=1.0) with wood that needs some TLC and a S-C chrome shooter (mw=1, throat=2) with a dark bore(looks shiny to me). I was not going to buy the chrome shooter but I noticed that the only chrome parts were the bolt, butt plate, sling swivels, and trigger guard. It had some nice looking wood with a good gloss to it and I could not resist.

Hopefully the other 3 guys will post, I know that #1 drove in from Chicago last night and was looking to purchase a few rifles and then driving back today IF the weather doesn't stop him.

Default Friday Closing Report

There were 58 of the 75 rifles at opening, but the 1903a3’s had been restocked.

SA Collector grade, 5879639 has sold and this rifle was added today, SA Post War Collector grade, 1, beautiful rifle, still full of cosmoline 5874666, 4/55 barrel, really nice stock, looks brand new... 2000.00

1903a3, 1 remaining from a total of ten stocked today.

1903a3 Chrome Rifle was added today, 1 remaining.

Strong numbers of SA 6 million, WRA RG, IHC FG remain.

Other rifles about the same as opening and the store should be restocked before opening tomorrow with about the same inventory as this mornings opening.

Good luck on your searches.

Was there at 11 am. Two SC 03a3s remaining, I grabbed one with 1 @muzzle, 1.5 TE. Rough wood, and Cosmo stuck in places, but should make a good shooter.

I think I'll just sell my place up north here and moved to Anniston. Maybe Tom can find me a place to live.
