Default Type 1 NM I think not

Seller has a great story, though not all factual. Really goes all out in attempt to rip someone off. Rifle had clearly been updated in 1960 to a Type 2, in which configuration it no longer is. Note the 1960 code on the barrel ( Diamond with flatened points).
Really sad there are so many crooks out there. If this guy went to the trouble to read all he did then he surely knows what this rifle is, and that surely is not a Type 1 NM.

This guy has been trying to pass this one off for awhile and has added the cheek pad just for grins.

Covered his a** in the first sentence when he calls it a NM "style" rifle.

This guy doesn't give up. I have seen his name on many bogus listings. That rifle looks like one of the resent service grades to come out just before the big buying crush hit. Don't even want to try to figure out the stock. Looks too new for all the use it supposedly had.

Regardless... with all that said... you don't see very many 5.2 million SA's out there.

I guess so, but somebody should tell him that a "star" representation usually has 5 points.

"Type I National Match marked and Star gauged barrel"

He added a different stock, note the different cartouche. Guess the cartouche on the first auction even looked to fake for him.
