Default Making progress- 110 gr w/ Varget

First time trying Varget with the Sierra 110's. Pretty giddy about this load.
I am shooting high and right as I have not readjusted my sights yet. Wasn't concerned where I would hit, just looking for groups. No Chrono. 100 yards from the bench. SR-1 center.

47.0 grains...8 rounds, all in the black. 4-10's, 4-9's. Adjusting left would have put 2 more in the 10 ring.

48.0 grains...12 rounds, all in the black. 2-X, 3-10's, 7-9's. Adjusting left would have gained 3 more X's and 2 more 10's.

49.0 grains...8 rounds, 1-10, 5-9's, 2 just outside the black. Again, adjustment would have put them all in the black. Interesting thing here, at least to me, the 5 shots in the 9 ring are a beautiful little cluster measuring 3/4" by 3/4".
First time this gun has produced such a nice cluster.

Maybe not match work at this point but definitely quite pleased with the results.
Used Federal GM215M primers, after trying to find some for about 5 months.
Shooting a 4.33 SA SG with a decent SA stock, good lockup but not great. Haven't done any mods since receiving it. I have ordered a new stock which should be here next week, anxious to get that put on. Would also like to try a smaller rear aperture. Overall a great day at the range with some very promising results.
Had been slightly frustrated as I had been trying some 3031 and 4064 loads that weren't doing quite what I thought they should. Had a couple really good groups with both but couldn't quite replicate them with any real consistency. Hopefully the Varget can change this.

Again, thanks to the folks that turned us on to these little beauties.
