Default sorry, but not a happy guy right now

Well, I got a wra service grade that had a bent op rod. after talking to CS about it, i sent it back to be repaired. Today, I went and picked up the wra that had the bent op rod and loose bolt , I really have to wonder what if anything was done to fix the rifle. It STILL binds, the op rod is STILL bent and when it travels to the rearmost travel, it binds when it does not have the oprod spring installed and when the spring IS installed, it STILL binds so much that when you release tha Bolt, slowly to battery, it STILL stops before closing(by 1/2 inch or more).
I am really dissatisfied with this.
anyone want a sg wra...?

OK so contact them again with your problems. It cost you nothing to return it the first time,I am sure they will bend over backwards to make it right.
They are only human and we all make mistakes.

I don't know if you have tried another Op-Rod,....I only ask because a lot of us here have the option of trying it due to owning 1+ Garands...

Could be a worn out spring, I have had something similar happen,...but it sounds a bit tweaked....

Send it back. You will find no love here by saying anything negative. If you want someone to help diagnose the issue then start an unrelated thread in the M1 Garand section.

Not worth it....and this comes from an idiot like myself that can't seem to get his foot out of his mouth around here sometimes!!!!!

CMP will make it right. At this point I would ask for another SG WRA rifle. Odds are it would be quite nice. Just be pleasant about the issue with customer service or ask to talk with Phil New, head armorer at SS.

it already went back once...came back EXACTLY the same way. I figure I will be trashed for posting...but $885 is alot of coin to me(yea, in nj you PAY a transfer fee, not refundable) so even if they send a different rifle, i am gonna be out ANOTHER 65

What do you expect if dont give them a chance to fix the problem??
Everyone makes mistakes, SEND IT BACK and let CMP make it right or keep it to yourself
