OFF TOPIC-
During the Depression at Christmas time my uncle wanted a goat, his folks could not afford a billy so his dad scuffed up a piece of rope tied it to front porch and left some goat droppings(he could afford the droppings)-my uncle went to all the neighbors crying all the way looking for a lost goat-he never found it - as there was no goat and it was many years later til he found out what happened....just wanted to share this Christmas story that my family has laughed about for many years.

I was referring to those of the current next generation who have never touched or heard of an M1 Rifle until this CMP frenzy of Garands flowing in. They are MORE unknowledgeable today of the M1 Rifle than the previous who may have had more legitimate issues. Sorry if taken the wrong way.
