Question, was this a "Friends and Family"(no fee) transaction with PayPal? Were you promised a refund?

PAYPAL is investigating.

SELLER PROMISED A REFUND - BUT THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED.

Received Text from Adam Roberson @ 5:13 am today.

"Sir, why are you calling the FBI on me when you got your Money back" "you are a liar" "you put a hold on the Money and Now you are crying like a Democrat"

REFUND HAS NOT BEEN MADE. NO HOLD.

Received SECOND Text from Adam Roberson @ 7:06 am today.

"why would you report me when you got your Money back"

PER PAYPAL NO REFUND.

Paypal should not be used for firearms per their rules. If they find out that was the real transaction they may become a lot less helpful. Yell at me if you like but that is why i no longer deal with them.

UPDATE:

BATFE Field Office in Marion, North Carolina has complied a report.

FBI Internet Crime Center has a report compiled and is investigating.

Collin County, Texas Sheriff's Department has referred the Case to the CID, "Criminal Investigation Department", and a Case # has been issued. Case assigned to Officer Moung. He will be working with the FBI and the BATFE on this case.

Claim filed with my Home Owner's Insurance. They have their own investigators and will be assisting as needed.

*** In the State of Texas, this Crime is considered a Class C Felony, as the amount is greater than $750.00


*** If this thief, "Adam Roberson", were to return the money, it just might save some jail time.
