Default Sling question

I'm wanting a 1907 leather sling for my garand. What length does a guy need? I'm 6'1" if that matters. And does the frog type make any difference? I might use it in a match sometime so should probably keep it legal. Also any brands to look for?

Thank you

Buy one of these and you will be set.

A 54 in. Ron Brown sling would do right by you and your M1 for looks, and for match shooting. Stout, thick, match legal leather, parkerized steel frogs. They can be found at Creedmore Sport, or from Ron Brown directly. I've been using his slings 3 or 4 years now, it's a very nice sling.

Consider a NM Sling Second from Turner Saddlery. Most people can't find any defect in these.
