Default Federal Stock Numbers for U.S. Trainers????

Specifically the Steven 416-2 or M416

I have located the FSN for the Remington 513T and Winchester 75

Does any one know the FSN for the Stevens???

I know that FSN's were not assigned until 1947 for any item. But since i have been able to find an FSN for those 2, there has to have been one for the 416 as held in inventory, shipped transferred, sold etc after that date.

Default Still looking

The 1963 version of TM 9-1005-206-14P/4 may have it. By the 1971 reprint the gun had been dropped along with the Win 75.

Does anyone have access to that publication of that date.

Meb’ee these will help . . . .

From tech manual 9-2200, dated 11 October 1943 . . . .

Under the image of the Stevens Model 416-2, it is printed RA PD 50618

Under the description of the rifle, for “references”:

SNL B-25
Drawing No. 42-28-1
Specification No. AXS-740

The 1963 edition of the TM covers the

Winchester 52D,
Winchester 75,
Remington 513-T,
Winchester Model 70 30-06, and
Winchester Model 70 bull gun 300 H&H.

The prefaces states that the Remington 40X-H1 and Winchester 52D share one stock number, and the Winchester 75, Remington 513-T share another stock number.

"2.c. Since these major items share a single stock number, supplying agencies will issue the rifles on the basis of availability."
