I have several questions. The first one is on CMP 1911 page 1A for FFL shipping address do I need the name of the FFL and address or just the address ( I will be mailing a sign copy of their 01 FFL License with my packet). The second question is I may be on vacation during the time the numbers are generated can I enclosed a cell phone number on a sticky note or something. I don't always have cell phone on while I am at home. Thank you.

I'm not CMP but...

I put the name and address of the FFL on page 1A. I had room since I used adobe and "filled" in the information on the computer instead of handwritten. Hopefully CMPadmin will give a definitive answer.

From the CMP 1911 page, "The customerís sequence number will be sent to the individual via email once such sequence number is established". So you do not need your phone handy until they start calling to ask which grade you want to purchase.

Default sales packet

Ok, ya'll can thank the "early birds" for these tips.

1. When you place your e-mail address on the forms PLEASE make them LEDGEABLE so we can read them. About 25% of the packets received so far we can not READ the e-mail address.

2. Also if your are in the military (active,NG, Reserves, Retired) put your branch and grade (ex. US ARMY 06, Alabama National Guard E9, USAFR E-5, USMC 01) Some of the staff were never in the Military (their loss) and do not know what CPO, SSG, CSM, LT, SFC are.

It is not any harder than that. I have my popcorn ready.

I ordered a case of smartfood popcorn for this one.

This may seem silly but considering what I've seen asked it's not out of line

I'm guessing a notary verification doesn't go out of date so if I get all the paper together and put it in a priority envelope and hang that off the fridge to drop in the mail the 5th that would still be valid. True?

Notary is good for 3 years from the date issued. You will be fine unless 1911 sales goes beyond three years......

I have some minor questions:

1. Can form 1A be signed and dated using a date prior to 9/4/18?
2. Can form 2A be signed, dated and notarized using dates prior to 9/4/18?
3. Can form 3A be dated using a date prior to 9/4/18?

I assume the answer to all is yes, but I would like some confirmation if possible.
Thank you in advance.
George

"All ordering information is included in the CMP 1911 order packet. The information contained in the packet should answer ALL QUESTIONS regarding the ordering process"

How's that working out for y'all?
