Default M44 trigger group

Anyone have an assembly diagram for the M44US(a) trigger group?

IIRC, Most of the 4x series trigger groups are nearly identical, and for the most part, interchangable. (tube feed excepted).

I've installed an adjustable trigger from a commercial model in one of my 44USs.

That said, try these out:

Thanks, that's a clear picture but it has to be wrong. As assembled the piece on the left pointing up would be in the chamber.

Oh, that. You are right.

In the (assembled photo)

L shaped piece is indeed installed 180 deg out. It should point down, not up. (the piece slides into the back of the magazine, BTW)

The "L-shaped piece" on my CMP Mossberg 44 is VERY wobbly - is it supposed to be tight and if so, how fastened in? I can't get a good look and I can't find a viewable picture online.
