Hi mulestang,

I may be in error, but I think OEM means Original Equipment Machinery!
Not to be confused with NOS- New Old Stock! You may want to give them a call for clarity!

I visit the South store from time to time. The CMP stocks seem to be nice, the wood on the few stocks I saw were much plainer wood.
The examples from Stockys were much nicer figured wood! As I recall the machine work seemed sharper too.

Good Luck to all of you looking for a nice stock,
broom

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer. Meaning they were the original producer of said parts, whatever it may be. Ex. Auto Ordnance was an OEM receiver manufacturer for IBM Carbines.

As far as Sarco, I have been disappointed time and time again and for some stupid reason I seem to forget after about a year and order something again only to be disappointed again.

Participating in a gun buyback program because you think criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbor has too many kids.

I WAS the proud owner of 45+ 100% A+ ratings on the old itrader system.

Hi Carriec,

"WE" old guys are thinking.... new parts made on old equipment!
Like "new" fenders, doors or bumpers for your 55 Chevy made on old dies that someone rescued from a junk yard!
You may be right!
The only way to find out is a simple text message or phone call.

Enjoy every day,
broom
