Default Easy Method for Rust Prevent for Long Term Gun Storage

I wasn't aware of this product, so am posting here in case helps others out

Recently purchased this VCI emitting tubing, simply insert into the barrel and snip to length. .22 or larger bores. Easy, lasts for two years and it helps protect the rest of the rifle as well, not just the barrel

Zerust makes a variety of storage products, including treated plastic bags in a variety of sizes. I use the bags for storing everything from small parts to handguns, and even rifles.

CorrosionX is a fantastic product. I have rifles stored in a damp environment in a Stackon cabinet that have been in there for years (cheapo guns) and the last time I applied it was 3 years ago. I check but they look as good as when I applied it, still oily. I also put it in and outside of barrels and stuff them inside tube socks. All of my collectables and hunting guns are wiped down and stored in gun socks in my safes. Nothing has ever corroded. CX is an industrial grade rust protectant that doubles as a high pressure lubricant and I also use it as a gun oil for firearm lubrication where oil is appropriate.

Gheez, another product I wasn't aware of. Lots of positive reviews and I searched the 'answered questions' for 'gun' and many more swear by it as well. It says there's one made for guns specifically but may or may not be the same stuff in a different size can. You aware? I'm a fan of gun socks on all of mine if just for the simple reason it prevents nicks & scratches from crow-baring them in and out of the sardine can (my overly full gun safe)

I also was unaware of this product till I read Larry's gas cylinder refinishing process in which he uses the Corrosion-X as the final step.
I bought the 16oz pump spray....$7 cheaper than the aerosol....
