I can tell you first place was also a scope AR, 16" barrel. My Herst double partner won It!

So.....which rule are you referring to?
There is no mention of 20 round mags in the Games rules.

It says in 5.2.2 (g), that no more than a 30 rd mag may be used. And in the M1 Carbine section, it says 15 rd mag, but not 30 rd mag is allowed. That is all I could find.

In the XTC rulebook, it does mention 20 round external dimensions for ARs. There is also rule 6.1.2 which states if you live in a communist state, you have exceptions made on some items. But that section does spell out the external dimension has to be 20 round.

Why don't they put vintage semi auto in with the vintage foreign bolt gun.

1950 semi autos shouldn't been in the same match as 2017 semi autos...
That's just my opinion...

What's a 2017 auto? I know what a 1950's design is, that's an AR.

If you are going to claim '50s design AR then it must complete as designed. Not in it's current 2017 version..not to mention the 2017 comment was also geared towards several other modern style semi auto that can legally compete... not just ARs.

[QUOTE=30calmike;1622657]Shot the MM Match. Looks like "you bring it, you can shoot it". Saw some AR "things" I couldn't describe. If the CMP people couldn't classify it as "as-issued" something MM, it went into "unlimited". No one was disappointed.

With the description of AR "things," that get categorized as unlimited, it could be a good start off to having unlimited type matches. 2017 variants would also apply

Just make the foreign bolt gun match the vintage match that includes semis and bolt guns..

Then the "modern military" match can include rifles from the 60s and newer and all rifles that fire 5.56, 7.62x51 and 7.62x39.

Give it up. The GSV matches have been functioning fine for years. MM is a problem that can be addressed without involving the others. Good Shooting. ...

Agree with ceresco. Leave the wood and steel matches alone. Modern military should be a current AR, M14 EBR, FN, even a MP5 or a Barret if someone wants.

Add in a Modern Sniper... any scope, any bolt action

SOMETHING TO BRING IN NEW BLOOD!
