Default Spotting scope.

What is a good spotting scope to buy?

I dont want to spend a fortune, but i only want to have to buy one in my lifetime.

Definitely do not want a low quality one.

I have two of the Konus Sport models the 80mm and the 100mm both are 20-60

Check out B&H photo they have goods deals on them

at Perry I dont even have to go past 20 magnification and can see the 200 Yard target clearly

Just buy a Kowa 82SV. Last scope you will ever buy. My brother bought a Konus and is does not compare to my Kowa 82SV. His Konus fogged up at Perry and was useless for that match. .02

The first question should be what are you planning on using the scope for? Highpower competition or long range shooting in the field or spotting shots on target at the range or more than one usage? There are lots of choices but one scope doesn't necessarily fit every usage.

I wanted to get a budget spotting scope and got a Gosky 20-60x80 and I've been VERY pleased with it.

My wife was even impressed when I set it up to watch the last lunar eclipse.

That looks like a nice spotting scope for very reasonable price.

How clearly can you see the target at 200-300 yard range?

The phone adapter is cool as well

The most expensive scopes will not allow you to see bullet holes when atmospheric conditions or even mirage are significant. Seeing .223 holes at 200 yds can be difficult with any scope on some days. You may be better off purchasing a decent scope and gaining some experience before you make a large investment. Midway sells an inexpensive Barska 18 to 36x, angle eyepiece spotting scope that gives very little away to better scopes and you won't cry much if it falls on the concrete. I have used one for years with no complaints at 200yds. Good Shooting
