I agree, these reports have made me look at directions a few times but the 15hr drive each way gets in the way! The 308 Special would be mine if it were a matter of a half day drive!

Overall good to outstanding, all SA parts with generally solid stock cartouches. Havenít seen a bad Correct grade, but some are better than others. There have been a few I think that were unissued or very little use.. Hope this helps?

Tom, you made my day! Just landed in Huntsville for business and looking at a trip down Friday morning. Looking for a good WRA FG or SG and it sounds like I have a chance at success!

Default South Store Report 4/26/2018

There were 8 customers at opening and the racks were full. CMP is now using a desert tan rifle case with CMP logo for their rifle sales, nice looking case.

My numbers are after the opening rush.

WRA SG 5, one with a nice WRA barrel. No other WRA barrels, no WIN-13 or strong stock cartouches.

SA FG 24, RG 2, several with 43-45 dated barrels, all hackberry stocks.

IHC FG 15

HRA FG 5

SA 6 million, 1

SA Correct Grade WWII, 2

M1D RG SA 1, WRA 1

M1C SA FG

M1 Drill 5 and 2 1903a3 Chrome Drill

1/4 box cotton slings, no WWII, should be refilled today.

PERSONAL REQUEST WTB: P.S. Co. and Louis Lefkowitz M1 canvas slings with strong stamps. Also Wilde Tool W.T. Modified bayonet.

Bayonets are available for asking from store staff.

Good luck on your searches.

There are no M1D Combos, just M1Dís and I donít think we will see any combos for awhile. Had an opportunity to do tour of armory recently and didnít observe ANY M1D Combos.

Pretty much everything is wearing it if itís a FG or RG, not all but most. I think USGI stocks are at a premium right now in the CMP..

If you attend one of their courses is the best way and thats part of the package.
Or if you have business at the armory, which I did, so it was an informal tour, right place at the right time.
