Default Friday Closing Report

There were 65 rifles remaining at closing and the store wasn’t restocked during the day.

CMP Specials, 5

WRA SG, 3

1/4 box of cotton slings and 5, 1907 WWI dated slings, 90.00.

Good number of other rifles remain and racks should be restocked in the morning. Rifle inventory types will remain the same for tomorrow.

There were a very few WWII barrels and no stock cartouches.

Good luck on your searches.

Tom,
Well its been a couple weeks since my last trip and I have a couple buddies looking to buy a couple rifles, so we will make the trip down in the morning.
Might hit the Range Store while we are at it since I am not on a tight timeline.

see you in the morning

Rob

Tom,
I always enjoy the trip even if no rifles are found, which is a pretty rare occurrence. But it does happen.
All else fails, there is always the sling box to prowl thru

see ya,
Rob

Default Sling box

I think the sling box was refilled right at closing, I know they were wrapping them today or may be refilled, maybe in morning...

Default Saturday closing report

There were 65 rifles present at closing and store wasnít restocked during the day.

Good numbers of WRA FG, IHC FG, SA FG and a few HRA FGís.

Inventory next week should remain about the same as this weeks inventory, no reports of any changes in the type of rifle inventory presently in the store.

Sling box is full and four 1907 WWI dated slings remain.

Other rifles remain about the same.

Good luck on your searches.

The thing I liked best about the Crane Naval Station numbers on the butt is that it was also machined for the Navy 7.62 spacer.
Every time I see those Crane numbers I want to look for the Navy modifications.
Nice, but I just did not need the rest of the rifle. Someone will get it and maybe not know what the stock really is.

For me, not a great day as far as rifles go. Great rifles present but not something I was looking for (mid WWII with original barrel and finish).
Did see a 3.6 SA that was an RIA EB Rebuild with a properly non-punched 53 LMR barrel that was 2/2 on the barrel and a GAW stock. That one will haunt me for a while but it left with a nice young (remember I'm and older guy) Serviceman. He did well IMO.

Great sling day. Mike allowed the sling box to get topped off saving my trip for sure.
- three WWII non dated slings
- four MRT dated slings 50s & early 60s
- Four tab marked MRT slings from 63 & 64
- two of the early 60s slings that were made on the WWII pattern but with blackened brass hardware (they look like WWII with the flat Keeper, but are not)
- two like brand new unmarked late slings
- several unmarked 50s type slings in good condition
- one M16/M14 nylon sling (why not)

Truth be told I would have been happy to buy the whole box as I did not see a bad sling in it. Lot's of good slings left to buy for those interested but be sure to look for the MRT stamped in the metal tab as there seemed to be a larger % of them in this batch.

hope to go back soon,
Rob
