That's what I was wondering I guess I'll just get proof of Marksmanship and send it in to be safe anyways, The way my lucks been running with the lotteries I have yet to win in one for years this would be the one I got picked first in if I had not sent in proof of marksmanship and I needed it, Better safe than sorry.

I'm 66 but just to be safe I'll still provide my credentials, 03 FFL, Hunter Safety Instructor and CC Permit. I learned a long time ago that additional information is preferable to not enough information.

Proof of marksmanship can also be satisfied by current or past military or law enforcement service. In fact if you are retired military having a rank of over E5 all requirements other than the NCIS check are satisfied by including a copy of your retired I.D. card.
I had a few questions and I emailed cmp1911@thecmp.org and I received a reply the next day.

How would you like to be on the other end of this and have to sort through a bunch of extraneous crap just so people can feel 'safe'?

Here's an idea.

Follow the instructions. Send one item that meets each requirement. Done.

Save the paranoia for the IRS.

Default age requirement

You need to provide proof of marksmanship until YOU ARE over 60. It is better to be safe than sorry.
