Default "P" marked front sight

I have a 11-44 Inland barrel with a "P" marked front sight. I have searched the forum, but cannot find the maker. Help, please. Thanks-Steve

I have a written note in my Reisch book that a "sideways P" was used by Inland. This came from another forum member.

It is a replacement sight made by the Prestole Division of the Detroit Harvester Company.

Thanks for the information. Do you know if it was a WWII part or a post-war replacement? Thanks again. Steve
